Evaluations for all divisions, Coach Pitch/Double AA/Triple AAA/Majors/Juniors.
The rules may change at any time during the season, and aren't solely limited to the following:


Tee ball 

  • Ages 5 and 6
  • 11” Ball (Safetee)
  • All players get medals
  • No tournament
  • 10 Game Season


Coach Pitch

  • Ages 7, 8, and 9
    • Age 6 must have 1 year of Tee ball.
    • 12 Game Season
    • Instructional
    • Medals to all players
Field
  • 35ft mound, 11 inch ball
  • 4 EQUALLY SPACED outfielders (10 defensive players) is mandatory.
  • 6 inning game
Pitching
  • Coach Pitch
Stealing
  • No Stealing
Runs
  • 5 runs per inning except for the last inning.
Batting
  • Continuous Batting Order
  • No Bunting
  • Batter receives not more than seven (7) pitches to complete the at bat. If 7th pitch is hit foul, additional pitches allowed, until missed swing, no swing, or batted ball in play.
  • Runners may advance on overthrows
  • A batted ball that hits the coach is a dead ball. Runners advance only to the next base
  • No Walks
Playing Time
  • Rotation Sheet or equivalent
  • No new inning after 75 minutes with a drop dead stop at 90 minutes.

 

Double AA

  • Ages 8, 9 and 10
    • Age 8 must have 1 year of coach pitch
    • 11 Game Regular Season plus single elimination tournament.
  • Trophy to the Tournament Winner at the end of the season.
Field
  • 35ft mound, 11 inch ball
  • 6 inning game
  • 4 Outfielders
Pitching
  • No more than 3 innings a game. 6 innings in a week
Stealing
  • Base runners may steal or advance on wild pitch/passed ball one base per batter, no stealing or advancing home on wild pitch/passed ball.
  • Runners can leave base when ball crosses the plate
Batting
  • Bunting is allowed
Runs
  • 5 runs per inning except for the 5th and 6th inning or called last inning.  This must be decided before the inning begins by the ump and the two managers.
  • No Walks.  After the 4th called ball the coach shall relieve the pitcher and pitch the batter's remaining strikes (each pitch counting as a strike).  Coach pitches need not be windmill form but shall be flat (minimal arch) with acceptable speed to challenge the batter.  Coach must stand within the circle.

  • Ball in Circle rule applies
Playing Time
  • During Regular Season, all players must play at least 3 innings.
  • All players must play at least 1 inning in the infield.
  • No new inning after 90 minutes during the week and 105 minutes on the weekend.  Hard stop of 105 minutes on weekdays and 120 on the weekend.  Score will revert back to the beginning of the last completed inning.

 

Triple AAA

  • Ages 9, 10, 11, and 12
    • 11 Game Regular Season plus single elimination tournament.
  • Trophy to the Tournament Winner at the end of the season.
Field
  • 35ft mound, 11 inch ball
  • 6 inning game
Pitching
  • No more than 3 innings a game, 6 innings in a week
Stealing
  • After leaves pitchers hand
Runs
  • There will be a 5 run rule for the first three innings, and no limit after the 3rd inning is complete
Batting
  • Continuous Batting Order
  • NO Dropped 3rd Strike rule.
Playing Time
  • During Regular Season, all players must play at least 4 innings.

 

Majors

  • Ages 10, 11, and 12
    • 11 Game Regular Season plus single elimination tournament.
  • Trophy to the Tournament Winner at the end of the season.
  • All Teams participate in District 9 Tournament

Pitching

  • Book Rule

Batting

  • Continuous Batting Order during regular season.

Playing Time

  • During Regular Season, all players must play at least 4 innings.

 
Juniors

  • Ages 12, 13 and 14
  • League Age 12 must be in 7th grade and played one year of majors.
  • Minimum 12 Game Regular Season.
  • All Teams participate in District 9 Tournament
  • During Regular Season, all players must play at least 4 innings.
  • High School Softball Players can join a Junior Team after High School Softball is done.  Must sign up before deadline for Juniors. Players will be eligible for All Stars if played in 40% of eligible games available in Juniors.

Seniors

  • Ages 15 and 16
  • Can be recruited from within District 9.
